A calm fills you, like the steady rise and fall of the tide against the shore. But sometimes the water stirs and becomes a typhoon to engulf whatever once used to race across the shore. What may seem calm may, in fact, be a raging water spout water to sweep you far away from anyone you may know, so long as you disappear forever. But what raises the tides for both of these rather opposite emotions or actions? You’ll know her name soon enough.
A goddess by the name of Entrite, the only one to be known to have a sibling, a mischievous little God who believed that jokes were end all and be all of the world. Having the uncommon title of sibling already attached to her name, it didn’t help the young goddess much and she learned rather quickly rather than rely on her brother or her already given title, that she would have to make do with her own powers.
Powers she found herself picky about the usage of. Why give calm to a mortal who doesn’t entirely wish for it and only intends to use it to keep others happy? Why relieve their stress when they only prayed for her in that time of need? Why help anyone but the ones that are actively praying to her being? This latter of thinking sprouted another, deeper power, she never knew herself to have until she felt it like a hot rush across her immortal flesh as she looked down upon the mortals. It didn’t take long for her to realize it for what it was, spite.
At first, she didn't know what to think of it. She felt like the two halves of her power were fighting against each other for complete control from within. After consulting her brother, Tantoa, he recommended speaking to another who had a power similar, but not quite. And for the first time, she met Noronus, an intense brute who coached her and helped her over many years to maintain and in the end entwine her powers together in harmony. Over the course of that time, as they became closer and closer, she hadn’t realized it, but she had already fallen for the love-hardened male.
With a terrifyingly majestic command over both of her powers thanks to him, she did her duty, but any female who she found to have set the eye upon the God she vied for, met her wrath. Only time could tell how long this would last until both Noronus and Entrite drift their way towards each other, or if in the end, Noronus would push her away. She had already given him her heart, what else would she take out of spite or give out of love to keep him or claim him as her own?
Entrite takes on the form of a creamy grey lioness, golden eyes either gleaming bright when she uses her power of peace or dulling to a near black when using the power of spite. Both deadly and majestic, she is the very embodiment of what some would say to be a Queen. With a swish of a golden tipped tail and the markings upon her form, among gossip, she’s said to be a fair contender against Lavosa, though neither of them takes it to heart and treat it as a friendly competition.
If you pray upon this god, you have a chance of being blessed or punished. Entrite is picky about who she blesses and due to such, the usual presence of a De’tanxi or one of the Spiritual rank will not give the usual help it does when attempting to be blessed. Keep this in mind when bowing your head. Plot/Monthly Updates;
- Chapter One ; Entrite watched the disastrous actions of individuals within the pack she watched closely; their actions corrupted by the wishes of Tantoa and Gozgriz, and she could only wish for peace to the ravage that haunted many. But without peace, spite ruled over with black eyes leaving their dark shadows on Sciamachy Mortala. The personalities of the many individuals in the pack darkened as the winter months waved on, but her spiteful hold soon relished as black orbs were replaced by angelic gold ones, leaving the pack in peace as the spring brought a new era of peace; but who knew it Entrite would be able to keep it that way.
- Chapter Two ; For once, she was able to keep herself at peace. At least for the mortals. But on the other hand--the Goddess could feel the side she had to train for years in order to control was lashing out. Gozgriz had gone after Stolthet, Lavosa was looking for her next mortal victim--meanwhile she, she was waiting on someone still holding onto the past. With such opposite tendencies--a rare amongst the gods, almost as rare as a sibling-- she could feel a battle waging within her that she wasn't quite sure she was going to win. Perhaps not with Noronus--and maybe not even within herself.
- Chapter Three ; It seemed as if her brother and herself had caught onto something alongside the God of Death and the Goddess of Marriage. While she wasn't surprised her brother caught on as he was rather familiar with the God of Death--she was slightly concerned but also amazed that she was able to catch on as well. But she wasn't expecting what met her eyes as they returned. It had nearly shocked her to a standstill. Red eyes glared back at her--and for some reason she felt as if she was being pulled towards her. But she resisted--her own eyes latching onto the broad form of Noronus; who hadn't even bothered to glance her way. It was at that moment she felt a shift within her as her eyes were lulled back into the almost comforting gaze of the red-eyed beast.
- Chapter Four ; It was weird, to say the least. To know that you were being used, but also desire it. To be 'friends' with one that no one else was particularly fond of-- but also desire the attention that came with being that one person. Perhaps it was her two powers coming to light-- two wills battling each other within her. But in reality, the Goddess knew exactly why. She strived for him to realize that she wouldn't hold on forever, and it seemed as if Zefilis was the only one who realized exactly what she wished of him. Perhaps she would get what she had always desired, perhaps she would wind up seeking out Zefilis instead--despite knowing exactly what his intentions were, that being stirring trouble up much like Tantoa. She would have to play carefully-- the last thing she needed was Noronus waging war and Zefilis heeding the call eagerly, just like they wanted.
