Snow. Snow fell from the sky ever so slowly, dripping upon the land. The heavy white material covered the ground, making it harder for those who were not use to the flakes to move through it. Jocelyn had been one of them, although her legs were long, she was barely able to push through the heavy snow. Her breath had grown heavy and uneven, one good eye focused ahead of her, she couldn't pin point the exact moments of how long she had been traveling across this vast unfamiliar land. All she remembers is running, feeling the dirt below her paws fly into the air as she ran and ran, ran until her legs begged her to stop, pleaded for her to take a rest and stop running.
Even when she was far from the familiar place, did she not stop walking. Even when the sights and scents became increasingly more unfamiliar and odd, she did not stop. She couldn't, she had no choice but to keep moving and ignore the pain that struck through her legs with each step, Jocelyn couldn't give up. Not Now. Not Ever. She had never been the type to lay down and die, never the kind of dame to just take what the world threw at her like a submissive lady, no, she was far from that. A warrior with an iron heart, that's what she was. And she wasn't going to let a little snow break her walls and force her to submit, no, she'd push through it, just as she always did when things had started to look grim and tough. She refused to listen to her exhausted body, refused to listen to swarming negative thoughts that taunted her, telling her to just give up, that it was no use to keep this up, to just die.
Jocelyn kept going, even as she felt the wobble of her long legs. Even when her vision was starting to go hazy, eyes barely able to stay open as she pushed through the impending exhaustion that was hitting her in waves. "Keep moving, Josie." A whisper of encouragement sent to herself, please..keep...going. Legs finally had enough, falling under her, and causing her body to tumble into the snow below, face hitting against the snow, she tried, she tried so hard to get back up. But her body refused to budge, pushed too far for it's liking, she cursed it silently. Demanding it be better, demanding it get up and carry her to proper safety. She cursed herself for being so weak as she laid there tired in the snow...."I'm going to die here..." She mumbled faintly under her breath, before allowing the slumber to take her,
