Venus' Application

Roleplay Sample:

The blue canine flexed his shoulders as he looked out towards a water bed. The water was calm and the breeze was virtually nonexistent this cool morning. Venus' fur ruffled slightly as he aimed to head to the specific location he was eyeing. It seemed like a decent place to settle down for a bit. His pale blue eyes glinted in the pale sunlight; the sun was hidden behind the clouds but it appeared to be returning from behind it rather soon.

Continuing to his desired location, his large paws pressed upon the terrain. His thoughts were elsewhere, like how long would he stay, where he would go next, and if there were other canines here. Clearing his throat, Venus watched the sky above him as he walked, the birds were quite vocal today. Not the unusual, but he didn't take note to how much activity they did everyday so maybe it was like this constantly? Eh, he didn't care, what special things did they have to him? Nothing. His ears twitched as he heard a bark in the distance, he wasn't too concerned. Then it came again, much louder and seemingly in distress?

Groaning softly, he tried to ignore it. Venus had bigger issues to tend to, maybe he could find a suitable place to settle down and then go to locate this distressed canine. His mind had an internal argument, fighting to help this unknown creature or whether to tend to his own issues; which could mean he was full of himself. But he wasn't! Venus gave a soft, irritable sigh and changed directions. Loping in the direction he heard the two barks, maybe it was nothing but it was worth checking out.
